Hammerbrook is a neighbourhood that has completely been destroyed in WWII, except for very few buildings. It is now an office building area, not ugly, but nothing nice to see either, no green, no benches to sit on. Today I went to stock up my reservoir of barberry (Berberitzen), which I have never seen anywhere else than in this Afro-Asian shop in Hammerbrook. Guess it is similar to using cranberries.
