London, next time soon

So. I just spent some time reading through The Londonist´s recommendations and ideas of what to do in London, on facebook.

This, added to a few ideas I already had before or „left over“ from last time, make enough for another fun day, I would think.

A, B and C are the things I really . . . → Read On: London in September

Dismaland, the perfectly dismal experience by Banksy

I felt never dismal, but the experience surely was. Tried my best to get a ticket, waited for the day where my one-and-only time slot (10.09.2015 at 2pm) was open for sale. Sat at the computer in time. And failed.

Reason for that one slot only are my travel plans which are not dominated by . . . → Read On: Dismaland dismal

London bus Routemaster 15 city tour

I just published my Routemaster 15 bus trip video.

What a lovely 1-hour tour, and I was so lucky to get the seat in the upper level and front row :).

Love those insider tours for visitors.

I took the bus from Trafalgar Square / Charing Cross to Blackwall

Dismaland Weston-super-Mare

On 21. of August a facebook friend of mine posted this.

And I thought, oh, that could be something cool and very special to do on my next full day in London, in September. As I cannot top my last London day anyway. Wouldn´t mind to do a repeat of the August day in . . . → Read On: Dismaland Weston-super-Mare

London - der schönste Tag

London im August 2015

Ich kam mal wieder um 8.25 Uhr morgens aus Hamburg an (5 Uhr aufgestanden) in Heathrow. Schloss meinen . . . → Read On: London – der schönste Tag

London - The Perfect Day

This paper only shows a schedule, not the photos, not what I felt all day, the happiness, the joy, the moments.

This was and will forever have been the most wonderful day I spent in London!

No time and power

Not that this is new to me, it´s happening again and again: Before I travel, I prepare everything to blog mobily (?) – and then I never find the time and internet connection to do sou. Happens for years, when travelling on business.

Means that when I travel privately, I . . . → Read On: No time and power

London Underground aka Tube announcements/adds

I love the Brits. Their humor is just so much fun and funny.

Like the tube announcements, the personal ones.

Not to forget the unforgettable “Mind the gap”

And these good adds (not funny, but clever and thoughtful).

Per Tube Kreuz und Quer durch London / zickzacking through the city by tube

This time I covere quite a distance by tube and partially by bus (as a tour), from the West to the East, but also South of the river.

I went to see great places and everything worked fantastically.

Transportation was awesome, and I never hit any rush hour, luckily. Like that . . . → Read On: Per Tube Kreuz und Quer durch London / zickzacking through the city by tube
