Foreign food at home

Today I went to stock up my reservoir of barberry (Berberitzen), which I have never seen anywhere else than in this Afro-Asian shop in Hammerbrook.
Guess it is similar to using cranberries. I was told people in Iran eat it with boiled rice. I put it in my Müsli in the morning, being sure that it is a good vitamin c bomb.

And then I bought some other stuff to try…

Rice for the rest of my life ;)
